During the 15th and 16th centuries most explorers who sailed beyond the horizon to find new lands thought they knew where they were going. Most got terribly lost and stumbled onto new lands. Full of humor. Excellent maps. You may not agree with the entire portrayal of Columbus, but the book is full of wonderful historical information. Soft 135p
